Dr. Brown was selected by a vote of his peers for inclusion in the 2004-2005 edition of “The Best Dentists in America,” as well as being listed in the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s 2003-2004 Consumer Guide, “Guide to America's Top Dentists.” Dr. Brown not only performs manages his own private practice, but educates new dentists and is an attending dentist in Periodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he is co-founder of the Dental Implant Team and Director of the Dental Implant Center. He is the Director of the Department of Periodontics at Graduate Hospital, and former Director of Periodontics at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.

He was educated at Temple University and received his DDS in Dental Surgery. He also attended University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine Division of Advanced Dental Education, with a specialty certification in Periodontics in 1969 and another in Adult Orthodontics in 1970. Dr. Brown holds a diploma from the American Board of Periodontology and has been a guest lecturer for many universities, including Columbia, Howard, Temple, and Boston. He has lectured for the National Naval Dental School and served as a consultant for the United States Army Dental Corps and the U.S. Public Health Service.
