A picture may be worth a thousand words, but the ability to take one may be the key to creating a beautiful smile. That, at least, is the philosophy of Dr. Paula S. Gould.

Her experience as a photographer and artist, in addition to more than 25 years experience in New York City, Fort Lee and Englewood Cliffs, gives her the discerning eye she feels is necessary to provide top-quality dental care for her patients. “I believe that art and dentistry go hand-in-hand,” she says. “A well-trained eye is the key to creating a beautiful smile.” Dr. Gould lectures frequently on cosmetic dentistry and has been featured on 1010 WINS News.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. Gould did her residency at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, W. Va. She promises the highest quality cosmetic and general dental care in the spa-like atmosphere of her office where patients are treated like family. Over the years, members of the entertainment industry – musicians, actors and models – have followed Dr. Gould and entrusted her to give them the smiles they’ve needed for success.

Dr. Gould feels strongly about giving back to her community. She has worked directly with Shelter Our Sisters and, through the “Give Back a Smile” program of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, restored smiles and self esteem to victims of domestic violence. Dr. Gould has volunteered to run low income dental clinics in Israel.
