Emergency Tips:

• Fractured tooth: If you can save the piece and it is intact we can sometimes rebond the broken piece . If this cannot be used we can restore the tooth with color matched bonding.


• Avulsed tooth: Occasionally a tooth can be knocked out of the mouth intact. If so retrieve it ASAP, quickly rinse or wipe off dirt and place in mouth in socket if you can or at least in saliva between teeth and cheek being careful not to swallow it and get to dentist within the hour if possible. If young child put tooth in a Tupperware container with small amount of milk or water to keep moist and bring child with tooth to dentist. Reimplantation can be successful if done quickly.
